For many years the name Minty was prominent in British Furniture. In fact most embassies around the world were equipped with the Minty ‘Isis’ sofas and chairs.
In more recent years the company found trading difficult and it was bought by Parker Knoll. The range at that time included many models which were made with Tailored removable Covers.
When Parker Knoll decided they no longer wanted to offer replacement covers from the Minty factory, they handed the templates over to us in order that customers could continue to buy replacement Covers.
These Minty templates were added to the range of Covers we had developed for their fully upholstered furniture to give the range we have today.
Your Minty furniture has a well made frame and is probably giving you good service even today. Minty did not usually identify their various models with any mark on the furniture itself so we publish this identification guide to help you find your model.
When you request details for Minty furniture Tailored Covers or Re-Upholstery you will receive the Identification Guide along with a full listing of models giving prices.

General Information for Minty Furniture:
For furniture with frilled valances, when you are ordering Covers or Re-Upholstery we would advise against selecting thick fabrics such as tapestries as they will not drape satisfactorily.
